Home Start, Inc.
Home Start Inc. is a home ownership education and counseling organization. It’s purpose is to help prepare lower income people to become responsible and capable homeowners. Home Start, Inc. has not been an operating company, since July 1, 2001. The Home Start program is operated in collaboration with Delta Real Estate. Home Start holds two training programs annually with over 700 persons having completed the first time homebuyer education since it started in 1996. The Home Start program has two part-time staff with an annual operating budget of $15,000. The Director is Kent R. Pipes, a NJ Real Estate Commission licensed Real Estate Instructor, the only non-profit home ownership program so credentialed.
